Spring holidays at the Pavillon de Manse

All tours of the Pavilion (self-guided or guided) must be booked in advance via the website.

Animated Guided Tour
Discover the water-raising machine that supplied water to the fountains in the gardens of the Château de Chantilly in the 17th century. You'll also discover the 19th century machines and the mechanised laundry. The machines will be set in motion in front of you. Jardinométrie" activity: Monsieur Le Nôtre is recruiting! To be in with a chance of gaining the prestigious title of Jardinier du Roy, you'll have to pass a short test... Will you be up to the challenge?
Tuesday to Friday at 4.15pm.
Duration: 50-minute visit and 20-minute talk.
Price: €10 per adult / €6 for children aged 4-12. Booking recommended.

Treasure hunt
An old chest has been discovered in the engine room! To open it and reach the treasure, you'll have to find the eggs and chickens hidden in the room, and work as a team to solve the riddles and puzzles!
9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17 and 18 April at 2.15pm.
Duration: approx. 1 hour 15 minutes. Price: €6 per person. Ages 7 and up.

Family workshop at the mill
Discover the power of water and wind by understanding how windmills transform these energies into movement. Make your own windmills and watch them turn.
Tuesday 15 April, Fridays 11 and 18 April at 2pm.
Duration: approx. 1? hours. Price: €9 per person. Children aged 4 and over.

Cyanotype family workshop
Discover cyanotype, an ancient artistic technique that reveals superb bluish images thanks to the magic of light. Express your creativity and take your original work home with you!
Wednesday 9 April, Thursday 10 and 17 April at 2pm.
Duration: approx. 1? hours. Price: €9 per person. Children aged 4 and over.

Practical workshops: €11.50 per child - duration: 2 hours - science workshops are for children only. Parents do not stay during the workshop. Booking compulsory.

The Pavilion is also open to the public from 2pm to 6pm from Tuesday to Friday and on the weekend of 5-6 April (€7/adult and €3/child).
